Job Description:

The Security Supervisor at JW Marriott Hotel Nairobi is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property, guests, and employees. This includes patrolling the property, monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. The role also involves training and coaching employees, handling guest complaints, and ensuring a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol all areas of the property
secure rooms
assist guests with room access
Conduct emergency response drills
Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems
Assist guests/employees during emergency situations
Respond to accidents
Handle interruptions and complaints
Escort unwelcome persons from the property
Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws
Provide proper paperwork to employees
Assist management in training, motivating and coaching employees
Follow all company policies and procedures
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards

Requirements:

High school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
