Job Description:

The role requires a skilled Teacher to support students facing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges in a rewarding, nurturing, and engaging learning environment located in a SEN school in Cambridge.

Job Responsibility:

building strong and trusting relationships with students
creating a safe and supportive learning environment
developing and implementing individualised learning plans
utilizing creative and engaging teaching strategies
fostering academic progress and social-emotional growth
collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of teaching assistants, therapists, and parents

Requirements:

qualified teacher holding QTS or equivalent
experience working with secondary students with SEMH needs
deep understanding of challenges faced by students with SEMH
ability to implement effective strategies for well-being and learning
patience, empathy, and resilience
excellent communication and classroom management skills
commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment
