Job Description:

A high-performing secondary school in the Borough of Hounslow is looking for a hardworking, focused individual to join their compassionate team of teachers, support staff and teaching assistants. As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be assisting students with SEND/SEMH needs in and out of the classroom. Working in small groups and 1:1, you will ensure that pupils are meeting their targets and developing both academically and personally.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting students with SEND/SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
Assisting teachers with working towards academic and personal development
Monitoring the progress of individual students
Helping students with Maths, English, Reading, Writing and Phonics

Requirements:

A graduate with strong academics
Excellent communication skills
A ‘can-do’ attitude and motivated to help others
Experience working with children with SEMH needs and SEND

What we offer:

Monday – Friday (no weekends)
Term-Time only
