Job Description:

Join Our Team as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have the dedication and compassion to support children's learning journeys?

Job Responsibility:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with a range of special educational needs
Assist with the implementation of tailored learning plans and strategies
Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Help students build confidence, independence, and social skills
Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to monitor and track student progress

Requirements:

A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy
Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students and contribute to a positive school atmosphere
Prior experience in a similar role or a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certification or equivalent) is an advantage, but not essential
A team player who works well with others to achieve the best outcomes for students
