Job Description:

Become a guiding force in the educational journey of students with special needs - discover the fulfilling role of an SEN Teaching Assistant! As a Teaching Assistant, you'll create a vibrant, nurturing environment where students thrive and reach their full potential. You'll work alongside passionate educators in small classes to deliver an innovative curriculum tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring no potential goes untapped.

Job Responsibility:

Fostering independence
Managing positive behaviours

Delivering an innovative curriculum tailored to students' unique needs

Requirements:

Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
Classroom experience is desirable
GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential
Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs

Nice to have:

Classroom experience
Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent
