Job Description:

Make a difference in the lives of exceptional learners by stepping into the role of an SEN Teaching Assistant in a supportive and inclusive school. In this role, you'll be instrumental in fostering a nurturing learning environment that prioritises student well-being and empowers them to achieve their utmost potential. Your duties may encompass providing care support, implementing positive behaviour management strategies, and tailoring your approach to meet each child's unique needs.

Job Responsibility:

Fostering a nurturing learning environment
Collaborating closely with the class teacher
Delivering a dynamic and differentiated curriculum aimed at unlocking every student's full potential

Requirements:

Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
Classroom experience is desirable
GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential
Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs

Nice to have:

Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
Classroom experience is desirable
Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
