Job Description:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll create a vibrant, nurturing environment where students thrive and reach their full potential. From fostering independence to managing positive behaviours, you'll be at the heart of making every day exciting and rewarding for students with special needs.

Job Responsibility:

Fostering independence
Managing positive behaviours
Supporting innovative curriculum delivery tailored to each student's needs

Requirements:

Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
Classroom experience is desirable
GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential
Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs

Nice to have:

Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
Classroom experience is desirable
