Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our exceptional school in Cranleigh, Surrey. We provide a nurturing, stimulating, and innovative environment for children aged 7-19 with autism spectrum conditions (ASC). Our school is a registered charity committed to providing the best possible education for every child.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to students in the classroom
collaborate with the class teacher
support students with a range of needs
create a positive and encouraging atmosphere
learn and grow through training and qualifications

Requirements:

Valid DBS check
full driving licence preferred
passionate about working with children with autism spectrum conditions
patient, caring, and enthusiastic
experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS desirable
experience with PECs or other communication tools for non-verbal learners desirable
experience with speech & language or BSL desirable

Nice to have:

Experience with PECs or other communication tools for non-verbal learners
