Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our exceptional school in Cranleigh, Surrey, which provides a nurturing and innovative environment for children aged 7-19 with autism spectrum conditions. The role includes providing individualised support, working closely with teachers, and promoting a positive learning atmosphere. Candidates will benefit from professional development, beautiful facilities, and collaborative work

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to students in the classroom
collaborate with the class teacher
support students with a range of needs
create a positive and encouraging atmosphere
learn and grow with ongoing professional development opportunities

Requirements:

A valid DBS check
a full driving licence (preferred)
flexibility on experience level
minimum requirement of 3 days per week
no GCSE in English and Maths are required

Nice to have:

Experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS
experience with Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECs) or other communication tools for non-verbal learners
experience with speech & language or BSL

competitive salary rising to £20,500 after 2 years as Senior TA
