Job Description:

Seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one support to a student with special educational needs in a vibrant primary school in Kirkby.

Job Responsibility:

Provide one-on-one support to a student with special educational needs
Engage fully with the life and community of the school
Provide tailored social and academic support to the pupil
Attend Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:30 during term time

Requirements:

Level 1/2/3 CACHE
Knowledge of the National Curriculum (2014) and Development matters framework (2021)
Have a flexible, can-do approach
Ensure your CV covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible (all employment breaks must be explained)
Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and full referencing process
Provide professional references to cover you for at least 12 months within the last 2 years
Have legal right to work in the UK

Nice to have:

Understanding of Autism and ADHD
Previous experience within SEN
