Job Description:

SEN Teaching Assistant - Exceptional School, Stunning Setting, Rewarding Role. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our exceptional school in Cranleigh, Surrey, providing education for children aged 7-19 with autism spectrum conditions.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to students in the classroom
assist teachers with lessons and create a positive learning environment
collaborate with the class teacher to implement personalized learning plans
support students with activities, behaviour management, and personal care
promote safety and well-being
participate in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:

A valid DBS check
a full driving licence (preferred)
passionate about supporting children with autism spectrum conditions
patient, caring, and enthusiastic
experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS (desirable)
experience with PECs or other communication tools for non-verbal learners (desirable)
experience with speech & language or BSL (desirable)
