Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our school in Cranleigh, Surrey, where we provide stimulating and innovative education for children aged 7-19 with autism spectrum conditions.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to students in the classroom
assist teachers with lessons and create a positive learning environment
collaborate with the class teacher to implement personalized learning plans
support students with activities, behaviour management, and personal care
promote a safe and encouraging atmosphere
engage in professional development and acquire QTS and HLTA qualifications

Requirements:

A valid DBS check
a full driving licence (preferred)
no previous experience in care or education considered
no GCSE in English and Maths required

Nice to have:

experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS
experience with PECs or other communication tools for non-verbal learners
experience with speech & language or BSL
