Job Description:

Join this vibrant team as an inspiring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant, where you'll make a real impact by supporting students 1:1 with their learning both in the classroom and around the school. Working closely with the class teacher, you'll ensure every student has the optimal learning environment tailored to their needs. The school boasts incredible facilities, including a music room, science labs, cookery room, technology and art studios, as well as extensive sports and recreation amenities. Job Responsibility:

Work 1:1 with a student, building a supportive and nurturing relationship ensuring they feel safe and secure at school
Promote and encourage good behaviour and encourage independence
Contribute to all aspects of educational activities and experiences through supporting the teaching of a broad curriculum

Requirements:

GCSE English and Maths qualification - minimum grade 4 or equivalent is essential
Level 2 - 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or working towards)
Understanding of the Safeguarding principles
Knowledge and experience of pupils with SEMH, ASD
Own transport due to location is essential
