Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our exceptional school in Cranleigh, Surrey, which provides a nurturing environment for children aged 7-19 with autism spectrum conditions (ASC). Our ABA school focuses on individualized support, small class sizes, and exceptional facilities like sensory rooms, yoga rooms, and more.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to students in the classroom
assist teachers with lessons and provide individualised support
collaborate with the class teacher to implement personalised learning plans
support students with a range of needs, including behaviour management and personal care
promote a positive and encouraging atmosphere
commit to ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:

A valid DBS check
a full driving licence (preferred)
genuine passion for working with children with autism spectrum conditions
patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS (desirable)
experience with Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECs) or other communication tools for non-verbal learners (desirable)
experience with speech & language or BSL (desirable)
