Job Description:

Exceptional school catering to children aged 7-19 with autism spectrum conditions; nurturing and innovative environment; emphasis on ABA approach, positive behaviour support, and tailored, individualized education; small class sizes, 1:1 student support, and exceptional facilities.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to students in the classroom
collaborate with the class teacher
support students with a range of needs
create a positive and encouraging atmosphere
learn and grow through professional development opportunities

Requirements:

A valid DBS check
a full driving licence (preferred)
no GCSE in English and Maths required

Nice to have:

experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS
experience with Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECs) or other communication tools for non-verbal learners
experience with speech & language or BSL
background in youth work
health and social care experience
