Job Description:

Become a guiding force in the educational journey of students with special needs as an SEN Teaching Assistant. Work in a nurturing environment to help students thrive and reach their full potential by fostering independence, managing positive behaviours, and tailoring education to individual needs alongside passionate educators.

Job Responsibility:

Create a vibrant, nurturing environment where students thrive and reach their full potential
Foster independence
Manage positive behaviours
Deliver an innovative curriculum tailored to each student's unique needs alongside educators

Requirements:

Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
Classroom experience is desirable
GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential
Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs

Nice to have:

Classroom experience is desirable
Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
