Job Description:

Great opportunity to join a growing family-owned business that is very flexible with excellent work/life balance and culture. This is a highly visible role, ideal for a Senior Accountant looking to grow and develop under the Controller.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly financial statements and management reports
Ensure the completion and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Conduct account analysis and reconciliation as part of the month-end close process
Review and verify financial records, identifying and rectifying discrepancies and errors
Take ownership of the profit and loss statement, ensuring its accuracy and completeness
Supervise and delegate tasks to junior accountants to ensure smooth operations
Evaluate financial operations and recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and initiate improvements
Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
Suggest strategies to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. Higher qualifications such as a Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification will be highly appreciated
5+ years of experience in progressing accounting roles
Must have experience in Financial Statement Preparation and month-end procedures
Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
