Job Description:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing the accrual basis general ledger, booking journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and providing accounting support to the property management team.

Job Responsibility:

Review and analyze accrual basis general ledger for accuracy and reasonableness
Book journal entries
Review adjustments to the tenant ledger
Prepare monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
Review portfolio financial statements
analyze and write variance comments for significant financial variances
Assist with complex special projects, including preparing various analysis schedule & ad hoc requests
Provide accounting support to property management team

Requirements:

BA/BS in Accounting
CPA credentials are preferred
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience
Oracle 11i or higher, or other ERP system experience
Strong Excel skills required
