Job Description:

Robert Half is partnering with one of their clients on their recruitment efforts to find a full-time, direct hire, Senior Accountant to add to their team. They are looking for a solid staff accountant that likes to dive into the details, has a curious mind that likes to ask the 'whys'. This role is for you if you like flexibility, room for growth, fun, casual environment, and celebrating mistakes in order to learn from them.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP
Manage and maintain Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements monthly
Lead and primary accountant for the fixed asset capitalization process
Assist in commission calculations, reporting, and auditing
Promote best practices in financial reporting, controlling, and analysis across divisions
Identify trends and warning signals through critical KPIs and dashboards
Enhance processes and IT reporting databases for accurate data production
Evaluate and implement automation opportunities
Handle accounting and balance sheet reconciliations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role
Proven expertise in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely financial records
Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial statements
Familiarity with maintaining the General Ledger and ensuring its accuracy
Skilled in creating and maintaining Journal Entries, documenting each financial transaction of the company
Experience with Month End Close processes, ensuring all financial data is properly recorded and accounted for
