Job Description:

Lisa Cole with Robert Half is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant for a dynamic company in the Roseville area. In this role, you will be a key player in the creation of the financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, month end close, revenue recognition and annual audit support. This is an in-office position in the Roseville area.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions within the general ledger
Assist in the optimization of financial systems for efficient and accurate financial operations
Prepare and review financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, adhering to accounting standards
Facilitate the month-end and year-end closing process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis
Offer insights and recommendations to management by monitoring and analyzing key financial metrics to improve financial performance
Assist in the creation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper revenue recognition, applying ASC 606 guidelines
Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and reconciliations
Stay updated with changes in accounting principles and standards, ensuring compliance and contemporary accounting practices
Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data

Requirements:

Bachelors in degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in an accounting role
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Excellent attention to detail with the capability to multitask
Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification would be a plus
