Job Description:

The Senior Accountant furthers the company's goals through the analysis and reconciliations of accounts, and the analysis of cash flow, as well as the creation of budgets and forecasts, preparation of audits, and management of internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. You will need first-rate analytical skills to successfully fill this role. A full-time role, this position include excellent compensation and benefits. You will also have the possibility of growth.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure accurate and timely recording of cash receipts and disbursements
Conduct bank reconciliations and address discrepancies as required
Handle expense account reconciliations and provide regular reporting
Review and reconcile monthly credit card transactions as necessary
Record and reconcile consolidated payroll transactions
Process and reconcile accounts such as cash, prepaid expenses, accounts payable, accrued expenses, debt, and related expense accounts
Maintain and reconcile company-wide fixed asset and intangible asset registers
Manage and reconcile company-wide leases in accordance with ASC 842
Participate in the month-end close process as needed

Requirements:

7+ years experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
Ability to plan and organize work, both collaboratively and independently
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
