Job Description:

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Senior Accountant in the service industry, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role involves high-level financial tasks, customer invoicing, and working closely with operations.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records
Undertake balance sheet reconciliations to validate financial data
Perform bank reconciliations to align financial records with bank statements
Manage general ledger to keep track of financial transactions
Prepare journal entries for financial transactions and events
Utilize Microsoft Excel to streamline financial functions
Carry out month-end close tasks to finalize financial records for the month
Handle customer invoices ensuring accurate and timely billing

Requirements:

Proficient in Account Reconciliation
Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations effectively
Knowledgeable in managing General Ledger
Skilled in creating Journal Entries
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
Experienced in handling Month End Close activities
Ability to manage and process Customer Invoices effectively
