Job Description:

Robert Half has teamed up with a leading entertainment organization on their search for a Senior Accountant who can assist with the financial future of the company. This Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial reports, preparing financial statements, assisting the month end close process, analyzing financial data, processing client billings, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain accurate financial reports
Prepare financial statements
Assist with the month end close process
Analyze financial data
Process client billings
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Handle operational accounting, including financial close, cash management, budgeting, financial planning & analysis
Reconcile receivables between the operational system and QuickBooks
Collaborate with all departments for process improvements
Conduct monthly reconciliations
Process refunds, cut checks, and batch premiums
Adjust budgets and forecasts
Develop scalable processes
Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
2-5 years of public, public/private or all private accounting experience
Experience with QuickBooks a big plus, not a must
Insurance industry experience a big plus
Strong communication skills

Nice to have:

Experience with QuickBooks
Insurance industry experience
