Job Description:

This role involves maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers, performing general accounting, and reconciling bank statements. The ideal candidate will have experience in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and using Microsoft Excel and will be responsible for month-end close duties.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare financial statements and reports for monthly and yearly closings
Perform account and bank reconciliations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Utilize Microsoft Excel to expedite processes and improve workflow
Implement and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems
Prepare and input general ledger adjustments necessary for accurate statements
Conduct regular ledger maintenance
Assist in the creation of budget forecasts and financial planning
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant
Proficiency in account reconciliation
Experience with balance sheet reconciliation
Experience in performing bank reconciliations
Proficiency in maintaining and managing general ledger
Mastery of Microsoft Excel
Experience in managing month end close
