Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team and make an immediate impact within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This hybrid role is ideal for a hands-on accounting expert who can leverage their technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to support financial operations, contribute to process improvements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and analyze financial statements
maintain and reconcile the general ledger
lead the month-end and year-end closing processes
assist in creating annual budgets and financial forecasts
utilize advanced knowledge of Yardi software
prepare schedules, documentation, and reports for external and internal audits
maintain compliance with GAAP
work closely with property management, accounting, and finance teams

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or progress toward certification preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
hands-on expertise in Yardi software
experience in real estate or property management accounting is a plus
advanced proficiency in Yardi software
strong Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
familiarity with other ERP systems is a plus
deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
excellent communication and collaboration skills
high attention to accuracy and detail in financial data and reporting
strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

experience in real estate or property management accounting
familiarity with other ERP systems
