Job Description:

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. You’ll oversee a variety of accounting functions and provide key support to stakeholders in preparing financial statements, completing month-end closing duties, and managing reconciliations.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and post monthly journal entries
Complete bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
Assist in generating monthly financial statements and reports
Collaborate on bank draw preparations for active construction projects
Conduct audits of financial information and resolve discrepancies

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or advanced certifications preferred
4+ years of professional accounting experience
construction or home building industry background a plus
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, financial reporting, and advanced Excel skills
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
