Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join one of our premier clients. In this pivotal role, you will oversee key financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making within the organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Oversee activities such as reconciliations, journal entries, and year-end closings
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial reports, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist in preparing tax filings
  • Lead preparation for internal and external audits, including developing schedules and providing necessary documentation to auditors
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level accounting staff, fostering professional growth and team effectiveness
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as Finance, Operations, and Tax, to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Assist in system improvements and automation initiatives to optimize and streamline accounting processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, with a minimum of [Insert years, e.g., 4–6+ years] working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, with solid experience in financial reporting and general ledger operations
