Job Description:

Our client, a leading name in the manufacturing industry dedicated to excellence in production and innovation. We are working with this well-established company to find a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
Manage general ledger activities and maintain accuracy of financial records
Develop, enhance, and enforce internal controls while streamlining processes to improve efficiency
Provide financial reports and insights to support leadership in decision-making
Oversee and support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
Collaborate with operations teams to monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and variances
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis to actual results
Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and regulatory requirements for the manufacturing sector

Requirements:

5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the manufacturing industry
Experience with QuickBooks is highly preferred
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting principles is a must
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
