Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in financial reporting, reconciliation, and analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data collection processes, resolving variances, and providing valuable insights to support business decision-making. Job Responsibility:

  • Orchestrating month-end close and journal entries
  • Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate representation of assets and liabilities
  • Crafting financial statement working papers, insightful analysis, and commentary
  • Proactively identifying operational efficiencies and business enhancements through in-depth analysis
  • Coordinating financial reporting, understanding GAAP, and budget assumptions to ensure transparency
  • Developing efficient processes and systems for capturing and reporting financial data
  • Analyzing variances and collaborating with department managers to resolve discrepancies
  • Delivering precise internal financial and performance reports to support departmental management
  • Preparing external financial reports for stakeholders such as government bodies and banks
  • Collaborating closely with business units to tailor financial reporting to changing business needs

Requirements:

  • A University Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
  • A CPA designation or designation in progress, nearing completion
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience, with 2-4 years of robust financial reporting experience
  • Excel in spreadsheets, data management, and reporting
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Anticipate and proactively resolve challenges
  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Possess a keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Embrace a collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach
  • Adapt quickly and make independent decisions
  • Demonstrate a strong appetite for continuous learning and staying current in a dynamic environment
  • Understand business operations and build valuable partnerships
