Job Description:

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting operations in a fast-paced SaaS environment. This role requires expertise in NetSuite, as well as experience handling multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange (FX) rates. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, preferably with a CPA and public accounting experience.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Manage multi-currency transactions and ensure proper FX rate applications in NetSuite
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
Ensure compliance with GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and other technical accounting standards
Assist with consolidations for global entities and intercompany transactions
Work closely with FP&A to analyze financial results and variances
Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements
Continuously improve financial processes and optimize NetSuite functionality
Assist in SaaS-specific accounting, including deferred revenue and subscription-based revenue models

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
3-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or technology industries
Strong proficiency in NetSuite and multi-currency accounting
Experience with foreign exchange rate impact on financials
CPA preferred (or progress toward CPA)
Public accounting experience (Big 4 or top-tier firm) is a plus
Strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, and financial reporting
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
