Job Description:

Our client is searching for a Senior Accountant due to internal promotion. Our client is a well-respected leader in their industry, known for fostering career growth and nurturing talent within their organization. With a track record of excellence and financial stability, they seek a Senior Accountant to play a pivotal role in their team.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards
Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
Perform in-depth research and analysis on technical accounting matters to ensure compliance with evolving regulations
Prepare audit schedules and assist during external or internal audits
Leverage expertise in ERP systems for financial analysis, system upgrades, and data accuracy maintenance
Act as the go-to resource for ERP system optimization
Collaborate with management to compile annual budgets and prepare rolling forecasts
Serve as a financial consultant by providing actionable insights to leadership based on historical trends and predictive models
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, control procedures, and government regulations for financial reporting
Work closely with compliance teams to implement and monitor internal controls
Partner with departments such as tax, payroll, and operations to drive efficiency and improve processes
Mentor junior accountants by conducting regular check-ins, training seminars, and performance feedback sessions

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
Public accounting experience is a plus
MBA, CMA or CPA designation is a plus

Nice to have:

Public accounting experience
MBA, CMA or CPA designation
