Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to become a part of our team in the hospitality industry, located in Dublin, Ohio. This role will primarily focus on overseeing income tax and sales & use tax compliance, reporting, and planning. The Senior Accountant will ensure accurate tax filings, manage audits, and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee income tax and sales & use tax compliance, ensuring accurate tax filings
Manage audits related to tax compliance and reporting
Implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Prepare and file federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns
Assist in tax provision calculations and deferred tax accounting
Maintain accurate tax workpapers and documentation for compliance and audits
Conduct research and analysis on tax law changes and their impact on the company
Prepare and file multi-state sales & use tax returns
Monitor and comply with evolving tax regulations across jurisdictions

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred)
2+ years of experience in corporate tax accounting, public accounting, or a related role
Strong knowledge of corporate income tax and sales & use tax regulations
Proficiency in tax software (e.g., OneSource, Vertex, Avalara) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Advanced Excel skills for tax calculations and analysis
