Job Description:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for monthly and quarterly closes, journal preparation, maintaining account reconciliations, overseeing lease payments and accounting, and supporting cross-functional teams in driving system initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure on-time delivery of accurate results for monthly and quarterly closing in compliance with US GAAP
Prepare and manage journals and account reconciliations
Oversee lease payments and handle lease accounting in line with ASC 842
Assist in quarterly review and annual audit related to specific areas of responsibility
Collaborate with other departments such as Finance, Legal, AP, Payroll, FP&A, and Tax to refine accounting processes and procedures
Drive key system initiatives and improvements across various business functions
Participate in special projects, system enhancements, or ad hoc analyses as required
Conduct fluctuation analysis to monitor and manage financial performance
Maintain ownership over lease payments and lease accounting under ASC 842

Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Must have a working knowledge of Finacle
Minimum of five years of experience in accounting
CPA certification is preferred
Demonstrated ability to prepare financial statements and reports
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to direct and supervise
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant accounting software

Nice to have:

CPA certification
Experience with system enhancements or ad hoc analyses
