Job Description:

Senior Brake Press Operative - Leighton Buzzard. Are you an experienced Brake Press Operative looking for your next opportunity? We're hiring a Senior Brake Press Operative to join our team in Leighton Buzzard on a 6-month temp-to-perm basis. Responsibilities include operating brake press machines, reading engineering drawings, ensuring quality standards, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Setting up and operating Brake Press Machines
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Ensuring all products meet high-quality standards
Adhering to health & safety regulations
Supporting production planning and assisting with team coordination

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Brake Press Operative (senior level preferred)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in sheet metal or fabrication is a plus

Nice to have:

Experience in sheet metal or fabrication

What we offer:

Overtime available on Saturdays and Sundays at 1.5x pay
