Job Description:

Cogoport is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to analyze data from cross-functional teams, provide business insights, and implement pricing strategies across services. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a background in B2B processes, pricing analysis, and data modeling. The role involves working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to deliver impactful results.

Job Responsibility:

Provides analyses of data and makes recommendations regarding pricing across services
Analyze complex rates data to determine projected profits or potential losses including risk analysis
Analyze and present alternative pricing scenarios with varying risk trade-offs
Provide quantitative & qualitative analysis of pricing, financial analysis, economic forecasting, competitive intelligence, market segmentation, targeted marketing initiatives, and other marketing trends
Develop advanced statistical reports to track, analyze, and forecast volumes and revenues and economic impact by customer group/product/country
Publishing prices, monitoring outcomes, and deriving and implementing learnings from pricing experiments
Formulate timely, competitive, and accurate responses to Global RFQs and local pricing requests
Suggest and recommend changes needed in the product to optimize the price manufacturing process and algorithms.

Requirements:

Bachelor/Master's degree in CSE, Mathematics, Analytics, or Economics
5+ years of related experience or an Advanced degree and 3+ years of related experience
Background of working in B2B Processes with strong commercial acumen is recommended
Experience in pricing analysis
Excellent data analysis skills (investigation, modeling, mapping & gap analysis)
Experience in handling large datasets and expert data modeling skills.

Nice to have:

Project Management
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of fundamentals including funnel analytics, customer segmentation, user activity modeling, churn analytics, and A/B testing
Strong problem-solving capabilities
Ability to own projects end-to-end, including building out timelines, key milestones, providing regular updates, and delivering against agreed specs.
