  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering managers, DevOps engineers, developers, product managers) to ensure efficient deployment, operation, and support of cloud engagements and information about those services and engagements
  • Optimize the performance, security, operations, and cost-effectiveness of hybrid cloud solutions through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, monitoring, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure cloud architecture and solutions comply with security standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Employ and implement DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipelines for cloud environments
  • Act as a subject matter expert and a mentor to less experienced team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and growth across the team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in cloud-based development and architecture using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, or open source software development
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and infrastructure services
  • Proficient in software development and in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java, with the ability to write clean, scalable code
  • Solid understanding of microservices architectures and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), as well as REST APIs and data pipelines
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline software delivery, using Github Actions, GitOps
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Leadership qualities and potential, including the ability to guide team decision-making, work independently, and mentor peers
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect)
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud deployments
  • Knowledge of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL, in cloud environments
  • Experience with effective Cloud Operations, including monitoring and effective information dashboarding
