Job Description:

An Automotive R&D Center is seeking a Senior Design Engineer with 8+ years of experience. The role involves applying engineering principles, designing automotive plastic parts, leading CAD and modeling teams, and optimizing processes for quality and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver complex projects
research and implement process improvements
lead engineering and CAD modeling teams
provide product leadership for delivering specifications, delivery timelines, and quality

Requirements:

Experience in design of plastic trims/automotive plastic parts
experience in NX (Unigraphics)
apply engineering principles to plan and deliver complex projects
identify potential for intellectual property protection
identify opportunities to advance company capabilities
research enhancements to processes and disciplines
develop and deliver training in best practices
lead design review processes
provide leadership to optimize product specifications, delivery, and quality
