Job Description:

Are you an experienced underwriter seeking an exciting new opportunity? Our client, a leading and forward-thinking insurer, is looking for a Senior Development Underwriter to join their team. In this role, you will build strong relationships with brokers and client and drive sustainable growth through strategic underwriting.

Job Responsibility:

Underwrite and grow a profitable book of business
Develop and maintain broker and client relationships
Analyse risk exposure, ensuring competitive pricing and coverage
Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes
Contribute to process improvements and product development

Requirements:

Proven experience in senior development underwriting
Strong commercial underwriting and risk assessment background
Success in managing broker relationships and driving growth
Knowledge of market trends and regulatory requirements
Strong technical underwriting and risk assessment skills
Excellent relationship management and negotiation abilities
Commercial acumen to identify and seize business opportunities
Clear, effective communication and analytical thinking
