Job Description:

The Senior DevOps Engineer will assist in building and deploying solutions and supporting tooling that improves developer productivity and the overall developer experience at Citi. The role involves working on Kubernetes clusters, automating build and release processes, and advising on DevOps best practices.

Job Responsibility:

Perform DevOps role managing build management and automation during SDLC
Create Helm charts with Kubernetes and manage k8's clusters and roles
Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
Develop scripts for automation
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Automate and improve build and release processes
Deployment orchestration and troubleshooting
Take care of critical upgrades and vulnerabilities
Advise technical leadership on DevOps best practices

Requirements:

Strong understanding of Linux, networking, source control, scripting, databases, cloud platforms, and the software delivery process
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts
Knowledge of build pipelines, CI/CD, and the pathway to production
Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit
Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles
Comfortable working with Linux and standard developer tooling (Git, BitBucket/GitHub, Jira, Confluence)
Ability to triage and troubleshoot build issues
Degree educated or similar experience in a similar role

Nice to have:

Knowledge of deploying applications on the OpenShift environment
Finance experience
