Job Description:

Are you a strategic finance professional with a passion for driving business growth in a fast-paced, global tech environment? My client is seeking a highly motivated Finance Business Partner (Lead Financial Analyst) to join their team in Sydney and play a pivotal role in shaping our APAC and emerging markets portfolio.

Job Responsibility:

Lead forecasting, planning, and analysis activities, partnering with sales, marketing, and global FP&A teams
Manage OpEx and headcount, providing insightful financial guidance
Build and maintain complex financial models (LTV, pricing, partnerships)
Deliver compelling presentations to senior management, translating complex data into actionable insights
Drive process improvements and establish scalable financial operations
Influence executive decision-making through strong industry knowledge and relationship building

Requirements:

Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate finance
Proven experience in managing customer metrics, revenue, OpEx, and headcount
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency (pivot tables, macros, etc.)
Experience with large financial systems (Oracle, BO, Hyperion)
Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience in tech, banking/consulting, or public accounting
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
Global work experience in a high-growth tech environment is a plus
