Job Description:

Are you a Senior Finance Officer looking for the next step in your career? The Senior Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation, leading and mentoring junior finance staff while contributing to strategic financial decision-making within the company.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Analyse financial data for trends and insights
Create management reports with variance analysis and KPIs
Forecast financial performance based on market trends
Monitor budget adherence and identify cost-saving opportunities
Oversee accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
Implement and maintain internal controls
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Coordinate with external auditors
Lead and mentor junior finance staff
Delegate tasks and ensure team efficiency
Participate in strategic planning
Identify process improvement opportunities
Contribute to the development and implementation of new financial systems and technologies

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or equivalent professional designation, preferred
5 year's experience in accounting and financial management roles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Leadership abilities to manage and develop other team members
