Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst for a short-term project with a retail client located in Irving, Texas. This position requires a detail-oriented and results-driven professional who can excel in a fast-paced retail environment. The primary responsibilities include managing scheduling, financial reporting, and establishing standardized processes to streamline workflows. Expertise in Oracle Fusion is preferred for this role.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and maintain detailed schedules to support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles
Ensure all financial deadlines are met with accuracy and consistency
Coordinate closely with stakeholders across accounting, operations, and finance teams to align deliverables
Generate, review, and analyze financial reports to support key business decisions
Conduct variance analysis and present actionable insights to executive leadership
Leverage Oracle Fusion to improve reporting accuracy and access to real-time financial data
Analyze existing workflows and identify areas for standardization and efficiency improvements
Implement standardized reporting templates and tools to simplify recurring financial operations
Document processes to ensure knowledge transfer and ease of continuity post-project
Act as a liaison between finance and IT teams to resolve system or data-related issues
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and recommendations as needed during project completion
Train internal team members in Oracle Fusion best practices and process enhancements
Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with company policies and GAAP standards
Identify and mitigate financial reporting risks stemming from inconsistencies or inefficiencies

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
MBA, CPA, or CFA certification is an advantage
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, particularly in a retail or consumer-facing environment
Proficiency in Oracle Fusion for financial management and reporting (preferred)
Strong analytical skills in Excel (advanced) and familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI
Hands-on experience developing workflows and templates to standardize processes
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational expertise, and strong communication skills to effectively liaise with a diverse set of stakeholders

Nice to have:

MBA, CPA, or CFA certification
Proficiency in Oracle Fusion
Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI
