Job Description:

The Senior Group Housing Coordinator at The Ritz-Carlton New York NoMad is responsible for processing reservations, ensuring accuracy in room blocks, and leading efforts to improve Group Housing efficiency. The role involves working with various departments to maintain high standards of service and ensuring the delivery of The Ritz-Carlton's Gold Standards.

Job Responsibility:

Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations
Identify guest reservation needs
Verify room type and rate availability
Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies
Accommodate and document special requests
Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations
Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue
Communicate VIP reservation information
Input and access data in reservation system
Oversee accuracy of room blocks and reservations
Input group rooming lists
Set-up proper billing accounts
Conduct weekly bill reviews
Lead discussions to improve Group Housing accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
