Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Information Security Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization’s infrastructure, applications, and data by leveraging expertise in network and application security, SIEM platforms, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and regulatory compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, and other standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust network and application security solutions to ensure the protection of sensitive assets and infrastructure
  • Manage and operate SIEM platforms to detect, monitor, and respond to security incidents effectively
  • Develop, configure, and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, ensuring role-based access control and compliance with organizational policies
  • Lead efforts to comply with regulatory standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001) and ensure ongoing audit readiness
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement secure application practices and review security vulnerabilities
  • Perform risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
  • Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and best practices, and recommend proactive measures to address emerging risks
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert for security technologies across the organization

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on network security and application security
  • Hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, including configuration and incident response
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing IAM solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, or similar platforms)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks, including PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and data privacy regulations
  • Strong understanding of security principles and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, endpoint protection, and encryption
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and common application vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying security gaps and recommending remediation steps
