Job Description:

Our client, a renowned financial organization, is looking to add to their elite Internal Audit team due to an internal promotion. Prior Internal Audit experience is required. The position involves project management for complex audit engagements, operational audits, mentoring junior staff, and collaboration with organizational leadership. The team is highly collaborative, functioning as partners to the organization rather than a compliance entity.

Job Responsibility:

Planning, executing and assuring successful completion of audits
Reviewing and identifying areas of impact, providing recommendations
Evaluation of risks and controls within financial and operational areas
Evaluation of efficiencies and effectiveness with the various areas of focus
Work closely with org leadership on process improvement, objectives, both short-term and long-term
Preparing of clear work papers and eventual conclusions / written reports to audits
Evaluation of staff

Requirements:

BS in Acctg/Finance
5+ years of Internal Audit / Risk within industry
CPA CIA are helpful, but only a plus
Experience is the key
Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
Must live in the Boston Area
