Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contribute to cutting-edge legal strategies, and grow within a well-established and respected firm.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the filing of patent applications and responses to office actions
Prepare comprehensive compilations of prior art documents
Ensure timely authorization and payment of fees related to patent prosecution
Maintain meticulous checklists to ensure compliance and readiness for patent grant dates
Collaborate with attorneys and team members on various patent prosecution tasks
Utilize case management software, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Excel
Handle documentation, draft contracts, and manage intellectual property tasks
Identify and implement improvements to the workflow
Address and resolve issues within the team
Report workflow inefficiencies and propose solutions to senior management
Work closely with attorneys to support their needs

Requirements:

5-10+ years of experience as a Paralegal
At least 5 years focused on Intellectual Property and Patent Prosecution
Proven experience in managing a team
Expertise in patent law
Proficiency in docket management software (DIAMS - Dennemeyer software preferred), MS Projects, Adobe, and Excel
Familiarity with time billing software such as TimeSolve
Strong professionalism and communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Prior experience as a Senior Paralegal or in a similar role

Adaptability to work with diverse personalities
Collaborative team player
