Job Description:

The role involves planning and implementing Windows Server systems, administering server networks, and enhancing IT operations with automation processes and troubleshooting responsibilities. Additional tasks include managing Citrix technologies, optimizing IIS servers, and contributing to security initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Plan, design, install, and continuously improve the Windows Server landscape based on the latest Windows Server versions
Administer and maintain highly available systems, ensuring stability and performance
Perform performance, capacity, and availability management for Windows servers to optimize system efficiency
Ensure smooth IT operations by handling incident management and troubleshooting through a ticketing system (2nd and 3rd level support)
Develop, adapt, and manage automation processes for system configuration using PowerShell scripting
Manage and secure Windows Firewall rules and server-level network configurations to ensure robust security and compliance
Administer and optimize IIS web servers for high performance and availability
Support and enhance the Citrix VDI infrastructure and manage Citrix Netscaler load balancer for secure and scalable remote access solutions
Contribute to IT security initiatives, implementing server hardening measures and ensuring the protection of critical systems and services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve system reliability, security, and automation

Requirements:

Minimum MID-level experience in IT support or system administration
Strong expertise in Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Failover Clustering
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating administrative tasks
Experience with Hyper-V management and optimization for virtualized environments
Knowledge of storage solutions, such as Dell EMC or comparable technologies
Sound expertise in managing and configuring Windows Firewall to ensure security and compliance
Practical experience with Microsoft IIS web servers, including deployment, configuration, and securing web applications
Administration of Citrix VDI environments and Citrix Netscaler for load balancing and application delivery
English and Polish- B2 level
