Job Description:

The Senior Java Developer role is responsible for applications systems analysis, programming activities, and contributing to the development, testing, and enhancement of enterprise web application solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Identify and define necessary system enhancements
analyze issues, make recommendations, and implement solutions
conduct testing and debugging
write basic code for design specifications
evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures
develop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems and standards
assess risk and enforce compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements:

8-11 years of experience in enterprise Web application development using Java/J2EE technologies
strong knowledge and hands-on experience in JAVA (Version 1.8 or above) / J2EE / Spring boot / restful Web Services
knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
expertise in Spring Batch, Spring IOC, Spring Annotation, Spring Security
expertise in mocking, Junit and performance testing of solutions
basic Unix/Linux knowledge, including shell scripting and Unix commands
Tableau report development experience
knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
experience with CI/CD build pipelines and toolchain such as Git, BitBucket, TeamCity, Artifactory, and Jira
knowledge of webserver setup and configuration including reverse proxy/SSL setup (preferred Nginx webserver)
understanding of testing concepts like TDD and BDD
strong design skills for Java/J2EE solutions with Oracle/Mongo backend
financial markets background is preferable.
