Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Provide L2 and L3 application support for Java-based systems, identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues
Analyze production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
Work closely with development teams to resolve defects and enhance system performance
Monitor application health, logs, and performance metrics to proactively detect and mitigate potential issues
Develop scripts, patches, and minor enhancements to improve system reliability
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues
Maintain and update technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and incident reports
Ensure adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and provide timely updates on issue resolution
Participate in on-call rotations for critical incident handling
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in Java and application support

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in Java development and application support
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), and Hibernate
Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) and troubleshooting database-related issues
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice to have:

Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerized deployments
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices for application support
