Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Associate with a background in complex litigation or class action litigation, particularly in data privacy. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to operate autonomously, take ownership of cases, and work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage litigation matters related to data breach and privacy, as well as class action cases
Draft and respond to letters, motions, and discovery requests
Take and defend depositions
Make court appearances and handle substantive oral arguments
Collaborate with and mentor junior associates
Maintain a high level of professionalism and effectively manage case strategy and client expectations

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) from a Tier 1 law school
Admission to the New York bar in good standing
Minimum of 6-8 years of complex litigation or class action litigation experience, preferably with exposure to data privacy
Proven experience handling depositions, drafting motions, and making court appearances
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong writing and analytical skills
Prior experience at a mid-size to large law firm preferred
